Old Brooklyn trollies

Roy Nathanson explained to me that these trolleys in the back of Fairway grocery in Red Hook were removed from the streets when people from the city were going to be moving to the suburbs of NYC in the 50's ...city planners wanted to make it easy for cars drive fast thru the city with easy access to & from out the suburbs ... funny
